Hey I’m Phoebe and welcome to my Travel and Food Blog, Passport Please.

I am a freelance journalist and blogger from Brighton, UK and I am obsessed with travelling. I write posts about my foodie travels and cafe reviews as I think that the best way to get to the heart of a destination is through eating and drinking.  I also focus a lot on budget travel.

About me:

I’m Phoebe, a 21-year-old wanderlust from Brighton, UK. An avid writer, reader, runner foodie and explorer, I’m currently pursuing my love of writing, travelling and eating wherever that may take me.

I always knew that I wanted a job that involved travel but I wasn’t sure how to get it. After taking a gap year, I started at university up in London but really felt that it wasn’t for me.

Instead, I moved back home to study for my NCTJ in journalism which took just a few months and cost a lot less. Since then I’ve worked on my local paper, I’ve done internships and I also work freelance as a guest blogger and copywriter.

My main passion is this blog and sharing photos and tips from my travels. I want to show that there are no barriers to achieving your dreams and I’d like to encourage everyone to create their own adventures and write their own stories.
